The Non-Intervention Committee have made proposals which hope to provide adequate guarantees against recurrence of Inc- dents in Spain which caused Germany and Italy to withdraw from the scheme.
Mr. Anthony Eden announcing this in the House of Commons to-day said that the Government considered the essential aim should be full international co-operation and complete restora- tion of the scheme of naval observation of the Spanish coast with the least possible delay.
