Wheat Decision!
We have received the following from Connell Bros. Coy Ltd., for publication:-
Philadelphia: U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit reversed a former decision in the case of National Biscuit Company vs. Ketlogg Company Involving the use of the trade name "Shredded Wheat." The court declared that the Kellogg Company employed unfair competition and untruth ful statements to deceive the pub llc and secure the trade which in equity and good consolence longed to the plaintif."

Appearing before Mr. E. M. A. Barnett at the Kowloon Police Court yesterday charged with the possession of 184 rounds of am- munition, a bricklayer, Man Chu, aged 44. pleaded that he ignorant of the law. He admitted he had picked them up at.a house.

"The defendant Kellogg Com- pany appropriated not only the name of the plaintiff's product. (Shredded
Wheat), but also its form and shape which has char- acterized the biscuit for more than forty years.
"In order to secure the property of the plaintif in the name, and form of its product, the defendant placed upon its cartons the words, The original has this signature: W. K. Kellogg'. That is, defendant not only adopted the

The patients, most of whom date. their trouble from the terrible epidemic of sleepy sickness which swept over Europe after the War, were all in a serious state of in- capacity, often bed-ridden, unable to write or feed- themselves, with unintelligible speech and severe mental depression.
