(BY LONGSHOREMAŃ)." The freight returns, received from the Harbour Office" during the 24 hours ended at 9 am. yesterday, showed a moderate tonnage movement,

The total tonnage of general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony whs 10,125 tons British steamers carrying 1,130 turis. Through cargo fór borta-be- yond the Colony amounted to 24.035 tons, of which 8,723 tons were carried by British "steamers.

Asiatic deck passengers entering the Colony during the twenty-four hours ended at 9 am. yesterday were 1,484, of which 920: were from British steamers.

There were altogether eleven arrivals, of which five were af British registry. the remainder being of other nationalities, while of the 13 departures, six were British ships. Particulars as fol- lows:-
