Milford, British open and amateur champion, won the world rackets title by beating Herbert Setzler, American open and professional champion, in the second match by 4-0, thus having an aggregate of 7-4. Milford, who' la an International hockey player, is a schoolmaster at Mariborough. He is the second amateur to win the title, the last one was in 1862, Reuter.
