Republican troops scored an aportant success last night when they made a surprise night attack-on insurgent positions on Mount Chimorra in the Pozo Blanco sector..

The Republicans claim to have encircled the enemy and opened an. Intensive fire, forcing the insurgența to retreat pre- cipitately after leaving behind over five hundred dead in addition to one hundred and fifty prisoners.
