The week just concluded has been a most active one with trading brisk at rapidly advan- cing rates in a market reminis- cent of the "good old days" of a few years ago. At closing, busi- ness is more subdued, due to some profit taking and March-

Berlin, Mar, 20. The entire amount of the new Loan, 4 1/2 percent. Reichs which was originally fixed at 500, 000,000 marks but was later in-
creased to 700.000.000 marks, has
been oversubscribed.
Subscription was opened on March 5 and closed on March 18. The first 100,000,000 marks was taken up by banks þefore the issue was announced, and the remaining
600,000,000 marks was subscribed by. the public.
