CHEAPER BUS FARES
Student Ticket Reduction
It has been learned that as from to-morrow students' bus tickets at reduced fares will be available for use on most of the China Motor Company buses.
It is understood that this step ls being taken by the Company as the result of numerous demands for these special tickets, which will be issued at $4 per head and obtainable through the China En- porium. These tickets will only be available for use on the follow- ing buses
Routes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 through journeys.
Route 6; from Blake Pier to Tungahan Terrace.
Route 7: from Yaumati Ferry to Rice Hall.
Route 3a: from Blake Pier to Hoksze Terrace.
The students' tickets will only be valid during week days between the hours of 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., holl- days and Sundays excepted.
Ever since the China Motor Company took over the bus service on the Island, in 1934 it has been steadily requested to allow this privilege for, schoolboys to travel at reduced fares to and from their schools.
