Into Discrimination
President Roosevelt has naked for an inquiry into the failure of the negro student, Mr. James Johnson, in his examinations at the Naval Academy at Annapolis, according to the secretariat of the White House.
Mr. Johnson is the only negro ad- mitted to Annapolis since 1874 He appeared to be making good progress in his studies when unexpectedly he was requested to abstain from future attendance at classes.
