Mr. Sum Fo presided at the second full business session of the Central Executive Committee when reports were received on military and political affairs from Generals Ho Ying-ching and Chang Chin, respectively.
General Chiang Kai-shek did not attend the session, but he participated in the meeting of the presidium earlier in the morning.

Owing to the regular arrival of shipments of rice from Annam and Slam, prices in Hong Kong have assumed a downward tenddency. Yesterday, the Nam Pak Hong rice merchants received a shipment of over 20,000 bags of Annam rice,
and during the next couple of of days, two further shipments of 100,000 bags of Blam rice are ex- pected to reach the Colony.
Those who are experienced in
