After evidence was heard the accused entered the witness box and concluded his evidence by asking for leniency.

After a brief retirement the jury returned, an unanimeus ver- dict of gulity. When asked if he had any explanation to offer re- sarding his stupid behaviour, the accused reiterated his ples for leniency.

THREE WOMEN IN DOCK

POSSESSION OF REVOLVER

Sentence of eighteen months' hard labour was imposed by Mr. Justice Hayden at the Criminal Sessions yesterday on Tsang Hop who picaded guilty to the posses- sion of two revolvers and eight rounds of ammunition at Talpo district, without a licence from the Inspector General of Police, Mr. M. J. Abbott, for the Crown said that a serious view of the case was taken by the prosecution.
