WEEK-END SPORT

BRILLIANT BALL

All Eyes On K.C.C. Juniors St. George's Society

ANOTHER FULL PROGRAMME

Cricket, football, hockey, Rugby football and yachting. These are all included in the afternoon's spert programme for to-day and while the football matches will no doubt commmand the big- gest following. in view of the approaching Interport contact with Shanghal, the other games will not suffer any lack of sup- port and the Rugby match between the Club, winners of the Triangular Tournament, and the Unllad Bervices, serving as it does as dress rehearsal for the tugrer Interport, should- siso draw a capacity crowd of rugger enthusiasts.

*

The soccer programme is a very full one with all the Senior teams on view, while so far as the cricket side of the after- 'noon's sport is concerned Second Division teams will be engaged in League fixtures with the Seniors indulging in friendlies, Some very interesting ladies' hockey matches are promised while at North Point that section of the community who indulge in that very pleasant form of sport-yachting--will take part in the Third Corinthian Series which should prove extremely Interest- ing....

Cricket

BY L.B.W.-" In dealing with the cricket pro- gramme for to-day, I will Erst of all dwell on the first division games, for though they are only friendly fixtures, they should prove every bit as, interesting „a5° the League games. In fact I hold the opinion, that "friendlies" are much more enjoyable affairs than League fixtures and I know for a fast that many of the 'Colony's leading cricketers share that view.

Function
