The Growth Of Restrictions
An increasing volume of bills have appeared on the London money market recently, covering the financing of business with China. This development is of particular interest.
China, as one of the primary producers, is gaining from the rise in commodity prices; also the country is showing much more stabilly. There is little doubt that unless Japan modifies bor policy in China, making it less aggressive, the peaceful re- lationship between the two countries will be at in end. Mean- while commercial conditions in the country show promising in- dications for British trade.
