A thorough investiga» tion was at once instituted which resulted in fourteen arrests be- ing made, while others are pending. Most of the arrested mén were former military officers and all, it is declared, have made confessions to the pallet.-Trans ocean News Services.

REICHSTAG TO BE CONVOKED
Berlin, Jan. 16.
It is now regarded as practically
certain that the Reichstag will be convoked for a session at the Kroll Opera House here on January 30 it i p.m. The only point on the agenda will probably be a declara- ton by the government. It is ex pected that Chancellor Hitler will make statement in which he will render account regarding the Na- tional Socialist regime's accom- plishments during the four years which the Chancellor, on assuming power, had asked to be given for completing the first four years plan of national reconstruction. It is not expected, howe:er, that the Reichstag during its forthcoming session will enact any legislation since the legislative powers have been transferred by the parliament to the cabinet which will likewise meet on January 30. It is believed in informed quarters here that above all the laws concerning in- ternational political reform of the Reich such as the law abolishing territorial absurdities will be pass-
ed by the cabinet. Tunescéan News Seraste.
