One Broken Wrist Sustained

EXCELLENT DISPLAY

Three accidents, “happily not of a very serious nature, marred the otherwise excellent display at the Christmas Meeting of the Faniing Hunt and Race Cỉnh hold at Kwanti on Saturday.

Mr. B. C. M. Kelly unfortunately sustained a broken wrist and injuries to his left eye when his horse stumbled, and Messrs. E. J. Tandy and F. G. Nigel fell from their mounts and, although they were not hurt, took no further part in the race.

Miss Lois Fearon, who has just recently returned to the Colony, won the "ladies' race with ease. leading all the way on Busan to finish with lengths to spare."

His Excellency, the Governor, Sir Andrew "Caldecott, accompanied by Lady Caldecott, and attended by Capt. W. J. R. Cragg, A.D.C., were present.
