When Government yesterday at the meeting of the Finance Committee of the Legislative Connell requested approval of a vote of $10,000 for the purchase of an 'additional"inotype machine for use In the printing shop in the new Prison at Stanley, strong criticism was voiced by Hon. Mr. J. P. Brags when be apposed this allocation of taxpayers' money on the score that it would actually be used in competition by the Government against private enterprise.
