of the Lotus flower together with the picture of Jesus Christ above the altar, lifted all that is best in Buddhist symbolism into the spirit of Christian worship. All the students of the mission took part in the service and both Chinese and European visitors were present.
In his ordination address the Rev. C. C. Wong gave a very moving account of the way he had been led, step by step, along the road to Christianity and how the Spirit of Christ had helped him in a re- markable manner over many dum culi places on the WAY. The spiritual and personal help of Dr. Relchelt and other members of the mission had made it possible for him to make this great choice of serving Christ.
