Mid-Season Evening Styles
Modifications of early season's styles are the chief changes to be seen in the mid-season collec- tions. Skits are a little shorter, and for the evening are of dan- cing length. A number of even- ing gowns are high waisted. But the high waist is not true to the Empire tradition; for
the dress.

Among new evening materials are lame's for dinner dresses and for "robes de style." A tailored short coat of reversible lame is "allied with a dance frock that is slim fitting and floor length. This
