Would Mrs. Simpson Marry King? Is Its Latest Turn

This article appeared in "The | Literary Digest" of October.

The question," a London West End matrón remarked last week, " is not whether His Majesty would marry Walls (Mrs., Ernest Aldrich (8impson), but whether Wallis

would marry the King."

Put in reverse that way, the world's current number one guess- |ing-game hummed afresh Ja schoolrooms, drawing-rooms and walk-up kitchens from, Bangkok to Buffalo, all but overshadowing this week's expected divorce hearing.

I believe the entire Intelligent world has heard of sampans Persons I have met, have told me in awe-stricken tones, of the "millions of Chinese who spend their ENTIRE ives aboard these diminutive ships."
