South China "A" Defeat Royal Navy

Several Interesting First Division League football encounters were witnessed during the week-end.

Yesterday afternoon at Causeway Bay, South China "A" ac- counted for the Royal Navy by three goals to one while at Caro- Line H. South China "B" gathered two further polnis when

they defeated the Police by three clear goals. At Sookunpon. the Eastern disposed of the Royal Welch Fusiliers by a similar

score.

The Kowloon Football Club visited the Valley. on Saturday where they overcame the H.K. Football Club in the League "derby" by four goals to two. The game was marred by an un- fortunate incident when A. S. Bllis, the Interporter and Kow- loon F, C. player, was sent off the fleld for alleged rough play.. The Royal Ulster Rifles defeated the Kowloon Chinese 5-2...and the East Lancashires had the better of the exchanges against the Chinese Athletic winning by the odd goal in three.

"In the Junior Shield, the Kumaon Rifles, making their first appearance here, lost to the Rowloon Chinese by eight clear goals.

been complied, and when a boy successfully completes them he is given a certificate of fitness.

Inspectors have been favourably. impressed, and it is likely that similar schemes
