Berlin, November 26. Statements concerning the German-Japanese Agreement were made to the German News Agency on Wednesday evening by Ambas. sador von Ribbentrop and Vicomte Mushakoji.

Herr von Ribbentrop said: "The conclusion of this agreement against the Communist Internationale is an epoch-making event. is the turning point in the campaign of all culture-loving countries against the forces of destruction. "It is essential that all civilised countries united against. Communism."*

Vicomte Mushakofi expressed the same hope and declared: "Against the Communist Internationale, which has its cells of des- truction all over the world, there is only one method of defence, namely co-operation of all countries. Japan and Germany are threatened more than other countries by the disruptivè influence of International Communism and are therefore, the first to resolve un co-operation."-Transocean News Service.
