The hearing which two Hakka men, Li Wong and Li Ping-sang, allas Li Chul- Yuen-tal, were charged with robbery at a lonely house in Shek Shul-tam, 'Shatau- on September 10, for district. concluded before the Chief Justice, at the Atholl MacGregor, Bir Criminal Sessions yesterday morn- ing when the accused were found cot guilty and were discharged.
The charge alleged that they stole a silver chain, two sfiver bangles, a coat. two pairs of trousers, six chickens and a duck. the property of a woman, Li Kiu.
The jury empanelled comprised: -Messrs. F. Stafford Smith (fore- man): L Bones, A. H. Ismall, T. C. Ellacott. F. H. de Carvalho, J. B. Anbioquia and Yuen Kok-ylu.
Mr. H. Williams, Assistant Attorney General. conducted the prosecution.

A charge alleging the possession VINDICTIVE of 80 ounces of pink mass and 32,350 heroin pills was brought against Yu Yin, unemployed, when he appeared before the Chief Justice, Sir Atholl MacGregor, at the Criminal Sessions yesterday.

in the rear cublele which was being used as a pill factory and actually pills were being made on
□ bed which was heavily curtained. There was also a drying cupboard. Two out of three windows were covered over and all the windows were shut.
The accused's hands were stain- ed with thick pink mass similar to the pink mass found on the bed. Accused. claimed to be the principal tenant and stated that his master way away in Cantori.
