visory Council, who has been stay- ing in Nanking, Shanghai and Lo Bhau for some months past, re- turned to Shanghai on the 6th. instant.

It is reported that Mr. Tank Shao-yi left Shanghai on the 9th instant, and is expected to arrive in Hong Kong to-day.
