FOUR OBOLENSKY
RUNS
Rosslysi Park Win Dull Game
With Old Blues"
stirring runs by Prince Obolensky, two of them ending in tries, compensated for much un- interesting play between Rosslyn Park and Old Blues, recently. The virtle Old Blues' pack had the bet- ter of the game forward, but the Rosslyn Park outsides made many muistakes and wasted opportunities. Obolensky naturally suffered as a result of these errors, but, although he was poorly supported, he show- ed. glimpses--all too brief-of in- ternational form in his spectacular dashes for the line. Another Rosslyn Park player who distingui- "shed himself was P. F. Cooper, full- back. He showed splendid Judg- ment, and his long. touchfinding kicks were excellent.
Old Blues, too, were rather dis- jointed behind the scrum, though this was not the fault of O. R. Evans. a thrustful stand-off, whe was a tower of strengthĩ until in- jured late in the game and was al- ways doing something useful. Af- tet Obolensky's first score, E. M. Undery kicked a penalty soal for Old Blues, but before half-time the Park's lead was restored by P. J. Halford, whose try was convert- ed by R. P. Nelson. Obolensky's second try was of his own making. He was standing well up to an Old
a stray pass, was over like a shot.
