If it is possible for Tsui to ac- cept the invitation, Hong Kong will affcially be represented at the Philippines All-comers champion- ship for the first time.

It is also probable, if the Colony champion makes the trip. he will be invited to participate in a ten- | mis tour embracing the provinces.

Lewis changed his tactles, fin- ally, and concentrated on Harvey's body, for the other was boxing superbly and allowing few open- ings. Lewis fought in close, where he was slightly quicker, than the challenger.

Harvey with a long, hard left prevented many of the American's rushes, but Lewis twice got through and knocked back the Cornish man's head, following up with a right hand hook that was just of the mark. The challenger was boxing beautifully all this time. and particularly in the eight round when he checked the Ameri- can's offensive.

L Brown. last season's centre- forward, now appearing at out- dright, was the success of the match, His dribbling at full speed was perfect, his shooting deadly. and he was continually making skillful openings for his fellows. There is a weakness at left-back. V. Brown falling to rise to the occasion in that position, but otherwise the defence was sound. Altogether the Army lock uke having their strongest side for many years.

The pice was terrific, Harvey landed a left and right to the champion's Jaw. The Cornishman hooked re- peatedly and perfectly into the American's ribs.

The fifteenth started in whirling fashion, Harvey landed a right with a sickening thud and Lewis staggered and appeared badly daz- ed. Harvey continued to punish him with lefts and rights to the head.

The verdict was anounced amid considerable booing-
