HON. ME. BEAGA'S QUERY The Hon. J. P. Braga queried the Public Works Extraordinary item for laying out new areas (Chinese cemeteries),and pointed out that the result of the heavy August rains were proving a nuisance to the residents of Hamuntin. The Hon. member stated that it would be better for the Government to abandon the place as a public cemetery. "It is really the last desirable place for a cemetery." the Hon. Mr. Braga said.

Asked by the Hon. Mr. J. P. Braga whether there was a possibility of the Government so doing, the Hon. Mr. R. A. U. North, Chairman, said that he would have to look into the matter.
