BERLIN SHARE
MARKET
Hong Kong Daily Fress" Speciali
Berlin, Nov. 7. The Share market on Saturday was less optimistic in tone than on Friday, the chief reason being that buoyancy Induced on Friday by the news that restrictions on traffic in foreign securities that had been, feared would not take place. was offset by the fact that it had in the meanwhile been found that in practice more care is to be exercised in accepting securities as collateral. This caus- ed foreign shares to fall, home shares following In sympathy. Nevertheless, this weakness did not apply to all sections of the market.
Fixed Interest securities were likewise depressed, foreign bonds: being weak and home bonda sag- ging in sympathy.
Mexican bonds were especially weak because in addition to the effect of the general rule that for- eign bonds are less available for collateral than heretofore there seems to be ground for bellaving that sudden hopes that the debt service on the Mexican govern- ment bonds would soon be resum ed were over-optimistic,
The turnover in German bonds was small

NEW REICH LOAN
A great sensation in the past week was the announcement Of the issue of the new Reich loan dealt with fully by cable.
This event came as no surprise as liquidity in the market had reached the degree that neces- sitated new opportunities for in- vestment if the risk that capital would begin to be misapplied was to be averted."
The bourse seems to be convin- ced that the new loan will be ab- sorbed without disturbing the in- vestment market. It is now 'stated in various quarters that the Issue of Reichs, loans will be more fre- quent than heretofore but amounts In general will be kept small so as overtax the resources of either money or the capital mar-

..
Attention in the share market during the week was specially con- centrated on shares of companies engaged in production, "metals and other raw stuffs because of the strain which is generally expected from operation of the new four- year plan. Thus cellulose machine and eléctrical ware shares were all firm.
