This Society has been in exis- tence for more than ten years, During this period, it has not re- Į kured in its efforts for the emancl- pation of mui tsai. In this con- nection, we should tender heartfelt gratitude to the en- lightened Government of "Hong Kong who has regarded the ill- treatment of mui tsal as a serious offence. In the light of the sup- pressive measures taken against the oppression of mul tsal, such a practice should have been 12- known. But the facts remain to show that the law is still openly violated.
