Manila's dream of an, interna- tional air transport terminal 15 now assured by J. T. Trippe, pre-. sident and general manager of Pan American Airways, states A. L. Valencia in the "Manila Bulle- tin.”
The youthful executive of one of the largest airlines in the world declared that he hopes to have a passenger terminal for the giant Clippers on the bayfront by July 1, next year.
This project will tie-up with the plan of President Manuel L. Que- zon for a national airport for *which P300,000 has been authoriz- ed, with more funds promised later on More than ten hectares of submerged land. seaward from Fort San Antonio Abad, In Malate, at the end of Dewey Boulevard. will be reclaimed as a site for the airport.

The air line president said that the major part of the programme Is in the nature of a public im- provement. Consequently he ex- pressed a great deal of satisfac- tion with what President, Quezon and the national assembly plan on doing toward giving Manila an airport adequate to the size and importance of the city. He was very high in praise of the foresight of the Commonwealth government officials in this regard.
"Our phase of the work relates to erecting a passenger terminal,” he declared. "We are prepared to start as soon as we receive word that plans at this end have been completed."
