WATERFRONT

Freight And Asiatic Passengers Returns

(BY LONGSHOREMAN), During the 24 hours ended at 9.00 am. yesterday, the freight returns, received from the Har- bour Office, showed a moderate tonnage movement.

The total tonnage of general cargo carried by vessels to the Colony was 7,218 tons, with British steamers carrying 5.082 tons.

Through cargo for ports be- yond the Colony amounted to 21,259 tons. of which 7,341 tons were carried by British steamers,

Asiatic deck passengers entering Into the Colony during the 24 hours ended at 9.00 am. yesterday were 402, of which 284 were from British steamers!.
