Developments of unusual impor- tance have. taken place in the O cast cross cut, where a parallel vein has been opened approximate ly 800 feet east of the San Antonio vein system. Drifts on this vein, both north and south, continue to show commercial average from $12 to $300 per ton.

Favourable results have marked the activities of the properties un- der the management of Marsman and Company in the Paracale-level is showing satisfactory re-quoted on application Mambulao district during the past month, according to J. B. Stapler, manager of the southern division of the company, who is now in Ma- ila on his regular monthly trip to confer with other officials of the Marsman interests.
Outstanding features of Mr. Stapler's statement are: the decl- sion of the United Paracale Min- Lng Company heads to increase the mili capacity from 330 to 480 tons a day because of the new ore bo- dies recently developed an 'an- nouncement that a new, up-to-date dredger will be purchased by Coco Grove, Inc.; the discovery. of new veins at San Mauricio which will add considerably to the ore re- serves of that company; the start- ing of exploration work at two new properties, recently put under con- tract to Marsman and Company.
Cold production at each of the Marsman-managed pro- three ducers in this district will be high- er than it was for August, Mr. Sispler said.

Mine development results have been so satisfactory that the di- rectors have been advised to ap- prove the 'construction of a third mill section which will increase
the mill capacity to 260 tons of sulphide ore a day and 200 tons of oxide ore.
Orders have been prepared for the machinery and equipment necessary for this new section and they will be placed as soon as the directors formally ap prove the expansion.
This new unit. will be in opera- tion early in 1937, according to present plans.
