LACTOGEN

... THE BEST SUBSTITUTE FOR MOTHER'S MILK" ".

Says a Lady Doctor

"I have much pleasure in expressing my unqualified approval of your Lactogen, as a perfect diet and the best substitute for mother's milk. I especially found thus Lactogen contains the exact amount of fat needed in a food for infants and that the emulsification of the fat helps greatly in the digestion and assimilation.

You have every permission to use this testimonial as you wish, for I feel sure the more this Food is used the greater will be the favourable Impression it must make.”

Even the most delicate babies thrive on Lactogen because it contains all the vital nutriment they need, in easily digested form. Lactogen is pure, fresh, full-cream modified dried milk with extra cream and natural milk sugar added, made in all important respects exactly like breast milk."

DRESS TO SUIT YOUR

TYPE

Women differ more in this country than in any other. Yet tew women show their individual- ity by dressing to suit their parti- cular type, personality, figure, and general appearance. This is due to the lack of understanding of the styles which suit them best.

often French women, who are. said to be the best-dressed wo- men in the world, all more or less conform to one definite type, They have sleek hair, full figures, small hips, and definite eyebrows. despite changing fashions, usually manage to express indivi- duality in their dress.

Yet.

they

Apart from actual appearance. clothes can make all the difference to a woman. They may even affect her personality.

The haphazard way in which most women select. their clothes is appalling. Think of the man- ner in which you choose yours. Perhaps a bright colour appeals to you; the trock is rather dif- ferent from the one you had last rear: It Ats without any altera-

tions being necessary; your hus- band likes it because it's bright and frilly.

Not one of these rather petty reasons should ever be considered The dress when buying clothes.

is probably all wrong on you, and time you begin to realise without knowing quite why. You imagine that you are tired of it. or that it is out of date-anyhow, you feel "alt wrong."

The point to consider when buy-" ing clothes is yourself. It once you exsetly determine your type. you will never have any diiculty

in making up your mind about a garment. You will be able to tell immediately whether it will suit you or not.

A woman who knows that the clothes she is wearing are exactly what she should be wearing, feels "just right." Have you evez ex- perienced that feeling? It gives' you more confidence than any- thing else, and make you feel What is on top of the world. more, clothes which are correct will not "date" so far as you are concerned. It is infinitely Important to be dressed to suit yourself than to suit the fashion of the day. The latter may not ault you at all.

There is more variety" a fas- nion, styles at present than there has ever been before. so that it should not be difficult for every woman to express individuality in her dress, and to be fashionable at the same time.

If you are short and slim, select dainty clothes, remembering that tunics detract from height. Severe- ip-tailored clothes should be worn by the rather "sporty" type of person who does not feel at her best

On the other hand, a tunic, or two-plece suit is ideal for the too- tall girl, and frills should be worn by the too-thin type.

BECOMING COLOURS.

What about colour? Think of Then your eyes and hair first. your" complexion. The colours of your clothes should either definite- ly match or contrast your colour- ing.

There are other points to con- sider, too. While the tall, exotic type can wear bright reda, or- anges, and purples, the dainty, fair type would only look rather "loud" in these colours. She should wear dainty blues, mauves, and Efeys,

These are just a few of the points which should be considered when selecting your clothes. Ent think of your personality, too-- that is the chief point.
