The Arst stage of the, Colony dancing championship organised by the Hong Kong Hotel with the well-known dancers, Miss Pat Sykes and her versatile partner, Mr. J. A. Andrew, as judges. was held at the Roof Garden yesterday, to crowded attendance.
The result of the competition was as follows: Mr. Leung La Chuen and Miss Patricia Randall (61 votes by popular acclaim) and Mr. M. Drysdale and Miss D. Reville (43 votes). The latter pair were con- sidered best by the judges.
