Traffic Summonses Before Court
A caution was administered by Mr. W. Schofield at the Central Magistracy yesterday when Dr. (MIS) H L Carnaval of Shell House, was summoned for causing obstruction with her car in

Prosecuting. Bergt. Bethell, of the Traffic Department, sald de fendant parked her car outside Jardine, Matheson and Co., Ltd.. behind another car in the Car park, Defendant had an appoint- ment and was in rather a hurry, so she parked there.
A representative appeared to answer a summons against Dr. G. L. Russell, of the Hong Kong University, of having driven rils car in Peak Road without permis- sion on September 21.
A fine of $10 was imposed.

Suicide Attempt That Failed
ABDUCTION OF TWO GIRLS
Intending to commit suicide a woman, Kwu Sul-king, 23, changed her mind, and abducted two girls to keep her company whilst ahe atempted to take her life.
Kwu Sul-king was tired of lite because a few months ago, she was driven from her home in Singapore where she had been a
concubine of a rich man.
Arriving at Hong Kong she boarded at one of the two girls houses. the other girl staying th the same block.
Realising the eagerness of the two girls Chung Yee, 133, and Au Mul, 11, in doing what she told them, and not wishing to end her life alone, she got them to come with her part of the way.
She invited them to the pictures and also gave the parents tickets for the show.
On the night of September 29, the three Went to Lai Chi Kok beach and entered the water. A passing launch disturbed them and they returned to the beach and
