LAWN BOWLS LEAGUE
Yacht Club And Civil Service Draw
The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club completed their Lawn Bowls League matches for this season on Saturday afternoon when they drew with the Civil Servics Cricket Club in the junior division each side scoring 60 shots.
There were only three other matches on the programme, Cral- gengower C.C. "A", Senior League champlons, the Police R.C. and the Talkoo R.C. all scoring victories.

Later. Fischer was examined by doctors in the Club house. While playing against Johnny Goodman yester- day, he strained the achilles tendon in the left heel and to-day again twisted it when in the rough at the Afteenth hole. He was greatly aggravated although he was able
to walk but he finched after fo- lowing through when the weight was on the left foot. Fischer sportingly denied that the injury affected his game but critics were agreed that it must have greatly affected his play.

Dixon Repeats His 1934 Success
Brooklands, Sept. 19. Freddie Dixon with his co-driver. C. Martin won the International ave hundred miles race, driving's Riley in 4 hours, 38 minutes and "15 seconds at a speed of 118.66 milles an hour. Dixon thus repeated his 1934 victory**
Second place was taken by C.WN. Pacey with C. T. Baker carr, a co-driver on a Pacey Hassan in the 0 special time of 4 hours, 46 minutes 2 and 15 seconds at a speed of 115,05 1 miles an hour.ENERA 2Third place went to Brian Lewis, with Earl Howe as co-driver on a Lagonda in 4 hours, 53 minutes and 1.2 seconds at a speed of 113.02 miles an hour.
