To Investigate Firing On S.S. Tai Lee

HM.S... Cicala has been des- patched to Canton to investigate the firing upon the s.s. Tat Lee by Chinese farmers. She is a patrol boat of the West River and has been sent to the Wong Ping dis- trict to carry out. Investigations. Representations and protests will be made to the Chinese authorities of that district and the punishment of the culprits asked for with the view of preventing further recur- rences of similar incidents.
