Paris, August 19.

The Spanish Nationalist craiser Almirante Cervera sank afte having been hit by one of the heavy guns of the fort at San Sebastian, according to a few minutes after it was hit.

The reports add that at least 30 persons were killed in San Sebastian on Tuesday during the bombing of the city by the cruisers, Almirante Cervera and Espana, the majority of hombs coming down near the main railway station, where considerable damage was done,.

When the Nationalists refused to take the threat seriously that hostages. would be shot if the bombardment continued, four persons were shot, namely the former Premier, Count Roma nones, the Nationalist, leader, Miguel Mauras, the former Deputy Benazn, and a fourth man by the name of Nigeria.
