Postal Revenue Suffer
AN ELABORATE SWINDLE
Described as a deliberate and calculated attempt to defrand the Government of its proper postal fees, three boarding house licencees were charged before Mr. 9. F. Balfour at the Central Court yesterday.
Lau Cheung Ling, master, of the San Kr San Boarding House, Nos. 68 and 69,Connaught Road Cen- tral, was charged with on or about July 13, enclosing 18 separate let- ters under a single registered' cover, sending them to Singapore, thereby evading the payment of postage on all the separate letters Fung Rai Ting, master of the Fing On Board-- Ing House, No. 20B, Connaught Road West, was charged with () sending $2 letters under similar

on July 14, and (b) sending 60 letters under one re- glstered cover on "July 3.
