FIRST DEFEAT FOR C. C. C. "A"

Recreio Falters Against Taikoo JUNIOR CHAMPIONS STILL WINNING

C. C. C. "A" the potential Senior Lawn Bowls League Champione were humi- liated by the C. S. C. C. on Saturday while playing away when they were defeated by This was the major sensation of 21 shots-all three rinks being on the debit side. the day, as the losers were regarded in many quarters as being unbeatable, and the Civil Servants' victory was therefore all the more meritorious.

Another minor sensation was caused by the lowly placed Taikoo Club when they inflicted i 14 shots' win over Club de Recreio when playing away. Apart from these two upsets, bowls results on the whole came out very much as expected.

In the senior division Kowloon Bowling Green, Kowloon Dock and C. C. C... "B" won their matches, while in the junior league Football Club "A", Bowling Green, Recreio, K. C. C., and Craigengower all were victorious.
