ASSOCIATION

Affiliated Membership

Applications

The after effects of the recent Association Prize Mecting are now beginning to make themselves felt as is shown by the fact that two units have applied for affiliated membership, while several requests have since been received during the last few days for Application Forms for Individual full membership.

At the next Council Meeting several matters of importance will come up for discussion, amongst them being the period and date of the Prize Meeting to be held in 1937, as well as the matter of the Association arranging for a repre- sentative team to compete at the Imperial Meeting at Bisley in July of that year.

The forthcoming issue of the 'Association's magazine. "The Hong Kong R.A. Bulletin." numbering over Afty pages, and which la- cludes, besides an account of the meeting, the official Prize Lists. In full.. as well as eight pages of photographs, will be distributed to subscribers on Wednesday next; those who are not subscribers may obtain copies at the rate of Afty cents each, from the Honorary

S.R.

it

Secretary, H.K.R.A. at Command Headquarters, after that date.. In this issue is also to be found the Arth list of spoon winners at the Spoon Shoots which have

been held between March 2 and June 1. At the Spoon and Practice Shopt which took place on the Army Ranges at Kowloon City on Wed- nesday afternoon last, a surprising- ly large number of members at- tended considering that, in normal effcumstances it is usual to find after any Annual Prize Meeting that the competitors feel that they are deserving of an extended "holl- day." On the occasion in question, however. nearly eighty members took part in the shoot and the progress which has been made In the last few months is amply de- monstrated by the fact that no less than ten scores of over 90 were

made using the SR. b) rines, and that three members tied for first place with a score of 96. This rendered it necessary for the usual regulations regarding counting out to be brought into use with the re- sult that the final results are as given in detail below.
