NAVY WEEK FOR SCOTLAND
London, May 9. The elaborate preparations al- ready being made at Portsmouth, Plymouth, and Chatham for Navy Week are a reminder that Scotland plays no part in this annual "at home" of the 'Benior Bervice, and many Scots have wondered why. 'Actually the Admiralty has on more than one occasion considered the fensibility of holding a Navy Week in Scotland, but up til now this has been found impracticable, and it was thought that the visits paid by some of HM. ships to various northern ports during the sun- mer season served much the same purpose. With the establishment of a naval training school at Rosyth, however, there may be a change in the official attitude to this - ques- tion, and it is quite probable that one of the Forth ports will see the Inauguration of a Scottish Navy Wesk next year,
