RECORD SET UP
High scoring was the order of the day in the lawn bowls league games played on Saturday with results coming off accord- Ing to book. Yet another possible was scored, this time by a Police ring (N. B. Fraser, T. R. Hunter, R. H. E. Marks and A. E. Carey (Skip, against the Footballers' "A" rink (E. Strange, J. Dobson, G. E. Stephens and J. Rodger (Skip). Sixes were also notched by F. X. Soares's four. J. Fraser's and A. M Holland's quartette.
The Polles gave the champions a great fight before succumb- ing. Both had one rink up and the other was tied, and it was Baxa's four that carried the day for the Champions.
In the junior game K.C.C. aonvincingly defeated C.C.C. by 48 shots and this victory augurs well for the Kowloon team in their "quest for the championship. Another 100 per cent. record went by the board when C. G. Silva one of the leading skips lost his match.
