Annual Meeting Of China Underwriters

INCREASE IN PREMIUM

Satisfactory working for the year was reported by Mr. C. A. da Roza (acting Chairman) when he presid. ed at the 12th annual general meeting of shareholders in China Underwriters, Limited, yesterday.

Mi. da Roza reported increases in premiums and re- marked that despite "violent fluctuations all over the world. the Company bad not suffered loss from deprecia- tion in securities.

MRS. A. N. NOEL

It is with deep regret that we have to record the death of Mrs. A. N. Noel, wife of Company Quar- ter Master Sergeant E Noel, of the Royal Ulster Rifles, who died at the Victoria Hospital on Saturday night, after a very short Ulness.
