NORMANDIE LOSES PROPELLOR
Le Havre, Apr. 30. The trials of the Normandie, after six months refitting., were suddenly interrupted in the view of the crowds lining the quayside. The vessel was abruptly stopped and a diver sent down reported that one of the four propeilors was missing. The Normandie was re- moved to drydock.
It is hoped to find and refit the missing 28-ton screw in time for the first trip of the vessel to New York in the new season on May 6 -Reuter.
