Skibbereen (Co. Cork), Mar. 25 Crying, "Ob, my darling, my darling," the wife of Vice-Admiral Henry Boyle Somerville, who was murdered in his home near here last night, knelt beside her hus- band's body.
That was the story revealed to-
night after an intensive police search for the murderers had been in progress twenty-four hours.
Mrs. Bomerville, who had col- laped, was able to give her first account of the tragedy.
"My husband and I were in the dining room last night about 9.1," she said. "We were the only oc- cupants of the house, the two maids having gone to an entertain- ment the village.
"I heard footsteps approaching from the yard at the back, and oa to the gravel in front of the bouse.

"I heard a knock at the glass entrance porch. My husband went out and then I heard a man's voice. ask: "Are you Mr. Somerville? My Iusband replied: Tam Admiral Somerville,"
