The Army Ranges at Kowloon; the case of five out of his seven i City yesterday afternoon saw the shots to count. biggest attendance at any Spoon and Practice Shoot which has yet been held by the Hong Kong Ride Association, which was largely due to the influx of members of the 1st Battalion of the Royal Ulster Riflès who were busy practising for the forthcoming Prize Meeting.

Although the temperature was higher than was the case last week. the conditions were far from easy, and at 500 yards a constantly vary- ing wind from the rear played havoc with many scores, while a drizzle and poor light made it al- most impossible for the latter de- talls at 600 yards to distinguish anything more than the outline of the targets.

*

The two Committees responsible for the organisation and "running" of the "Services" and "Bisley" Prize Meetings have already met, with the result that the major portions of the two programmes have been decided, and it is anti- cipated that such programmes will be available in printed form very shortly, as will also the Year-Book of the Association, which is now approaching completion.

ITALY IGNORANT OF SECOND BOMBING.

London, Mar. 10. Italy has diplomatically profess- ed ignorance of the second bomb- ing of the British Red Cross unit ut Quoram, but has promised. to repeat the instructions to its forces to avoid a recurrence.

This instruction was originally given when the frat bombing of the Quoram unit was reported and a British protest was lodged.

It is now confirmed that a third bombing of the ambulance unit has been carried out by Italian planes, a March 6, and will probably evoke a third British protest Reuter'e Bulletin Bervice.
