ST. JOSEPH'S ALL
OUT AGAINST S. CHINA "B".
Riflemen Should Win
(By "PIVOT")
S. China "A" suffered a severe shock last week when they went down to St. Joseph's Collège by the only goal scored by David Leonard in the match which was featured by sound defensive play on the part of the College boys. This week the league leaders are matched against the Recrelo and not to be caught napping once again their stalwart, Lee Wai Teng has promised to dan his foot- ball gear to do service for them; which from the looks of things will mean another capacity crowd at Caroline Hill to-day.
With the inclusion of Lee as centre forward, S. China's old attack will once again be in action. Tso will be partnered by Fung and Ip Pak Wa and Tay Qual Liang will form the left wing com- blaation. Their defence will be the same as last week and It is still doubtful whether"Wong Wing will be available to play in goal or hot.
"BELTRAO'S
Recreio will be trying out Dei gado as a centre forward and it is interesting to see how he fares in that position as this is the first
which he
has been occasion" in allowed to play as such.

The Police should bag anothe two points this week at the ex- pense of the Lyceman Gunners. I believe Tom Pile is still on the in- jured list which looks very much as if the same team that took them into the Snal of the sentor shfeld will be out to do service again.

ine which is new to this Colony: though the soldiers have only ap- peared in local soccer on but three occasions, their match against the should not Athletic to-morrow worry them a bit. In fact I am confident that they will win in the long run.
Another good game should be seen on the Navy ground when the Naval team is at home to the Fusiliers. The soldiers will be best served by Harrison, Coakley and Evans in the forward line. This trio can do wonders once they get into their stride and if given aur- ficient support from the rear guard they ought to be able to beat the ecm lack com- Navy, who as a bination.

St. Joseph's College did the un- expected last week by beating 8. China "A". They are out to do the same thing to-morrow against the Chinese "B" S. China " have' selected 14 players for this match and I am given to understand that in all probability Pau Ka Ping will be with them again.
Last week St. Joseph's College owed their success to the fine de- tensive work of L. Souza, Sinclair, Elms, Woo and last but not least that lanky Costa. Should they be able to do the same to-morrow I am afraid S. China "B" will stand a very slight chance of coming away with the two points.
