Tributes By Medical Department

A very large gathering representing every branch of the Medica Departments in the Colony assembled - as # "Cock- tall""party" which was held at the Roof Garden of the Hong ∙Kong Hotel yesterday "evening.

The party was given by members of the Medical and San!- tary departments in honour of Dr.. W. B. A. Moore, O.BE, and. Mrs. Moore, who are leaving the Colony on retirement, and this was a most fitting occasion to say good-bye to them both.

A presentation was made by Dr. Wellington, of a beautiful sliver server, from the members of the Medical Department to Dr. Moore, and Mrs. Moore was presented with a lave's decora- tive Teen quartz lamp shade. Following this an illuminated address. signed by all European and Chinese officers of the department, wàs read and presented to Dr. Moore.
