COURT SEQUEL As a sequel Lim Choon Seng why produced yesterday before Mr. M. E. Blacker in the third Singapore, with attempting tu im- port into the Colony rubber which did not bear a certificate of ori-i gin.
Mr. P. D. Lawson at the Excise Department who prosecuted ke- quested that a serious view be. taken of this case as it was de- liberate attempt at smuggling.
Lim Choon Seny was fined $300 or in defaults six months' impri sonment while the rubber and the sampan were confiscated.
