Servant Population
Some interesting facts were disclused yesterday at the meet- ing of the Legistative Council. The Hon. Mr. M. K. Lo's questions anent salaris paid to European and sun-European members on the Public Works Department elicited the astonishing fact that in 1923 the total salaries paid to European Stad was $579,963: whereas in 1935, these figure had almost been doubled.
