S. China "A" Extended Navy's Double Defeat

Succer matches over the week-end went, according to the general expectations, the Police and the Club overwhelmingly defeating St. Joseph's and the Navy respectively and both the "A" and "B" teams of South China accounted for Kowloon and the RA. 'Lyemun.

South China "A" were fortaxate in defeating Kowloon as the latter true to their reputation of being tenacious Cup fighters, gave the Chinese a very hard tussia and the goal that decided the match was the outcome of a miskick by their own man who deflected the ball into his own goal,

The Club struck their time form and opportunities, "never went begging as their, 6-1 victo y indicates. RA. put up a very good fight against South Ch na "B" and were defeated by the marrow margin of ? goals.

In the Junior Shield Eastern did well to account for the Fusters while the East Lanes defeated the Navy in true Cup- The R. E and Liga tie fashion after being two goals down. Portuguesa accounted for Athletic and Ulsters respectively.

F. Fincher and Mackay. Another senior match which ended in a draw was the clash be tween the Army and the C.C.C. played on the Sookunpoo ground. Five junior matches were played and again four endċd- in draws.
